Role

​

We are looking for an operator to create all the components required to build exhibits and displays using a CNC machine. The candidate must be a reliable worker with a solid work ethic and can operate a CNC and related equipment accurately. It would be best if you were highly detail-oriented while still working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. It is also essential that you display excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

​

• Working with CAD, DXF, DWG files, and CNC programming software -Calculating dimensions to cut sheets.

• Find efficiencies for dimensioning and cutting.

• Cutting, CNC machining, and assembly of components.

• Sharpening & ordering tooling and supplies for CNC work. -Assist building exhibits and displays.

Skills and Experience

• Ability to read blueprints.

• CNC - Machine: Ideally, 1-year minimum, but we are open to training the right candidate.

• Excellent Computer Skills.

• CAD user is a plus.

 

 

Physical Expectations

​

• Stand for long periods.

• Using hands and power tools.

• Bending, lifting, and walking frequently.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs, push-pull up to 25lbs.

Hours:

We have only one shift opportunity (7:30 am - 4:30 pm); occasional overtime may be required. We know how vital the weekends are for friends and family. While our manufacturing volume may require occasional work on the weekends, this is something we try to avoid. We try to plan schedules around balancing work and family life.
