Graphic Designer - Branding & Layouts

Role

The graphic designer works collaboratively through the company to support the branding process for all our exhibits and displays by developing and creating branding layouts, output, and coordinating client artwork.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the Design Manager on the layout and requirements for all the branding and production of
    graphics.

  • Develop branding layouts for printing per project, making sure all graphics have the right printing sizes.

  • Identify the type of printing methodology, vinyl, 3D logos, straight panel printing, and tension fabrics.

  • Experience dealing with image and printing sizes.

  • Adhere to the graphic production schedule.

  • Familiar with large format printing, including large tension fabrics.

  • Generate proof sheets and secure approval for the production run.

  • Communicate job requirements and expectations to Project Managers.

  • Branding guidelines for each job.

  • Create graphics and artwork.

  • Retouch artwork and create proofs for printing.

  • Obtain estimate to print graphics through vendor's network in the US.

  • Vendors' coordination to produce graphics.

  • Troubleshoots and problem solve issues as they relate to printing and graphics.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Excellent English writing, proofreading, and editing skills.

  • Must be creative as well as have good use of time management.

  • Experience in production design, developing layouts, submitting proofs.

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.

  • CAD user is a plus.

  • Ability to read technical drawings or blueprints.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in graphic design and production role.

Education

Ideally, the candidate will have a Degree in Graphic Design and related experience working in Digital Printing.
