Sales Manager

Position Summary

The sales manager is a team leader and reports directly to the CEO. Responsible for the direction and management of sales and business development operations for domestic and international projects, including market penetration, competitiveness, pricing, compensation, and overall strategy. Also he/she is responsible to recruit, train, develop and manage a new sales team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire and train new sales people.

  • Target US, European and Asian companies doing trade show exhibits.

  • Maintain and keep company sales pipeline.

  • Assign and control all sales leads provided to account executives.

  • Keep contribution margin and services management fees under the desire expectations.

  • Oversee the hiring and development of a sales organization.

  • Be a role model for the company culture.

  • Assist on compensation, training, and sales incentive programs.

  • Drive the development of national and international sales strategies.

  • Create overall sales reports and annual sales projections.

  • Work with Marketing to develop, establish, and direct strategies and programs.

  • Develop new customer relationships.

  • Manage overall sales process, set appropriate metrics for sales funnel management.

  • Participate in sales and business development training.

  • Assist to develop pricing policies, including discounts, terms and conditions.

  • Participate in account receivables if required.

  • Oversee the final delivery of our projects.

  • Work with designers making sure that exhibit designs are under the client’s expectations.

  • Oversee all estimates and make sure they are within the client’s budget and contribution margin.

  • Participate in client’s meetings with AE’s. Mainly for major accounts.

  • Contact and meet with current IGE client’s on a regular basis to oversee customer satisfaction.

  • Participate in production meetings to oversee the status of projects.

  • Create and direct weekly sales meetings

  • Reporting on a weekly basis to IGE’s CEO of all Sales and Marketing activities, progress reports.

  • Strong communication in between the VP of Sales and the CEO of IGE is required.

  • Daily management of all people mainly in sales, account management, estimating, design.

  • Travel to trade shows to deliver exhibit to major clients.

  • Connect with clients after a job is performed and obtain feedback.

  • Other tasks and responsibilities as requested by IGE’s CEO.

 

Requirements

  • Proficient in 2D and 3D aspects of AutoCAD.

  • Excellent communication skills: interpersonal, listening, oral, and written.

  • Skilled in PC usage and associated software.

  • Able to generate detailed construction drawings from sketches and specifications.

  • Knowledgeable of standard drafting practices and procedures.

  • Able to efficiently schedule and manage time.

  • Comprehension and ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, etc.

  • Highly organized and committed to producing accurate and complete work.

Salary

Base Salary plus bonus compensation on sales.

Experience

Minimum of 3-5 years as a sales manager in the exhibit industry or similar.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
