Position Summary

​

Graphic design work. Prepare graphic files, operate printing equipment, do vinyl logos and finish graphics to contract specifications.

​

Responsibilities

​

• Adhere to graphic production schedule.

• Experience with large format and Flat Bed Printers.

• Produce exhibit display graphics utilizing a variety of printed processes.

• Maintain graphic printing equipment in good working condition.

• Generate proof sheets and secure approval for the production run.

• Requisition substrates, films, and laminates as needed.

• Work with fabrication shop on required substrates. Inform any size discrepancies.

• Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment while adhering to IGE's safety rules.

• Keep current on new techniques, procedures, and materials.

• Identify problems and opportunities for improvements and cost savings.

• Communicate job requirements and expectations to Project Managers.

• Create branding guidelines for each job.

• Create graphics and artwork.

Skills and Experience

​

• Strong Computer Skills - Mac and PC.

• Adobe Software. Photoshop and Illustrator.

• Familiar with graphic production and materials.

Education

Ideally, the candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design (a plus) and or related experience working in Digital Printing.
