Role

​

The Production Manufacturing Assistant assists the Operations Manager with tasks related to the fabrication of trade showexhibits, displays, and retail environments.

​

​

Key Responsibilities

​

• Coordinate production scheduling.

• Work with every department that contributes to production. 

• Process work orders.

• Participate in weekly production meetings. 

• Assist with purchasing fabrication materials according to project requirements including supplies, MDF, plywood, laminates,acrylics, etc. 

• Handle emails, Slack messages, calls, and correspondence on behalf of the operations manager. 

• Perform inspections to identify problem areas and ensure that all procedures adhere to the safety codes and standards.

• Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all company toolsand equipment when not in use, and tidying your work site daily. 

• Run errands as required by the Operations Manager, including picking up and purchasing materials. • Other duties as assigned.

 

Skills and Experience

​

• IGE is looking for a production assistant who can grow into the role of a Project Coordinator or Manager.

• Thorough understanding of materials, labor, tools, and machines used in manufacturing of custom environments. 

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Teamwork mentality is a must! 

• Attention to detail.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Compensation

​

• $20-$25/hour.

• Full-time position.

• Monday – Friday 7:30am-4:00pm.
