About this position :

The main responsibilities of the Warehouse Worker are to assist with all warehouse operations, maintain accurate inventory of client owned properties, help and assist other IGE warehouse employees to perform their duties with accuracy and within budget,pull and prepare exhibit properties and prepare an accurate shipping manifest.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities Include:

​

• Maintain a professional attitude within IGE warehouse operations

• Follow safety rules, organization and cleanliness of IGE facilities

• Assist and maintain rental exhibit inventory

• Assist to maintain all equipment in good working conditiom

• Verify completeness of outbound and inbound shipments

• Pull from storage and prepare exhibits for outbound shipments

• Inspect inbound shipments, record any damage and create report

• Perform warehouse work within budgetary and time constraints

• Assist with maintenance of forklifts and warehouse facilities

• Load and unload exhibit properties from trucks

• Maintain adequate records for continuous improvement

• Keep accurate labor hours for each job assigned

 

Experience and Skills:

​

• Warehouse experience.

• Excellent forklift driving skills

• Ability to communicate with all departments in a diplomatic and constructive manner

• 2-5 years of warehouse experience and forklift operations

• Organizational Skills

• Knowledge of loading and shipping procedures

• Ability to read blueprints

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Experience in shipping, receiving and inventory processes

• Handyman / Carpentry skills a plus

• Computer skills- Outlook, Word, Excel

• Able to work a flexible schedule

• Effectively use hand and power tools, and operate a forklift

• Lift a minimum of 75 pounds

• Forklift certification is a must

Hours:

From 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Occasional overtime may be required. We know how essential weekends are for friends and family. While our fabrication volume may need occasional overtime work and occasionally during weekends, this is something we try to avoid. We try to plan schedules around balancing work and family life.
